On the first day of the two-day practice match at Hambantota, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali bowled well as Sri Lankan Cricket Board XI were bowled out for 196 runs in 46.3 overs. scored 113 runs with the help of 18 fours while facing 127 balls.
It should be noted that 31-year-old Fernando has represented Sri Lanka in 21 Test matches. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets by giving 37 runs in 12 overs. Hasan Ali dismissed 3 players for 22 runs while all-rounder Amir Jamal. And leg spinner Abrar Ahmed took two wickets by giving 33 and 52 runs respectively. At the end of the first day, Pakistan scored 160 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Shan Masood played an aggressive innings of 83 runs off 66 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. Babar Azam was not out on 14 and Saud Shakeel on zero.
