The Asian Cricket Council has accepted the proposal of Pakistan’s hybrid model.

According to the details, the Asian Cricket Council has announced the schedule of Asia Cup 2023, the Asia Cup will be played from August 31 to September 17, the first 4 matches of the event will be played in Pakistan, while the 9 matches will be played in Sri Lanka.

Teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal will participate in this event. There will be a total of 13 matches in the Asia Cup, of which the first 4 matches will be played in Lahore.

Sri Lanka will host 9 matches, including the final, after India’s refusal to come to Pakistan, PCB suggested hosting the Asia Cup at 2 locations, so that India plays its matches at a neutral location.
