It is learned that Asian Cricket Council President Shah has assigned Oman Cricket Chairman and ACC Vice President Pankaj Khamji to resolve the matter.

It should be noted that the hosting of the Asia Cup in the year 2023 is entrusted to Pakistan, but India had refused to send its team to Pakistan, on which the PCB presented a hybrid model, but the Indian board refused to accept it as well. Pakistan responded by saying that they will participate in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India this year only if the Indian team travels to Pakistan for the Asia Cup.
