It should be noted that after the events of May 9, Fawad Chaudhry is the third central leader of Tehreek-e-Insaf who has left the party and politics. Before him, Shireen Mazari announced his retirement from politics a few days ago, while Imran Khan’s long-time partner Aamir Kayani announced his retirement. It should also be remembered here that many former members of the Assembly have left Tehreek-e-Insaaf, but these three central leaders have announced to leave the party as well as politics.
Ref. My earlier statement where I unequivocally condemned 9th May incidents, I have decided to take a break from politics, therefore, I have resigned from party position and parting ways from Imran Khan
