LOS ANGELES (Xinhua) – A lawsuit has been filed against the state’s attorney general against the plan to ban TikTok in the US state of Montana. The lawsuit filed by 5 people who make content on TikTok says that Montana’s ban on Blocking residents from using the popular app is a violation of First Amendment rights, unconstitutional, and a violation of federal law.

The move by TikTok users comes after Montana Governor Greg Gianforte signed into law Senate Bill 419 on Wednesday, which would have banned anyone in Montana from using or accessing the social network. Vali has become the first US state. Businesswomen, farmers, students, and senior citizens are among those who file a lawsuit against people who create, upload, watch, and share videos on TikTok.
