In a conversation with the media in Lahore, Misbah-ul-Haq said that 3 batsmen of Pakistan are on top in the ICC ranking. Pakistan’s bowling is very strong. Indian pitches are favorable for batters, looking at the conditions, the best team should be selected. The former captain said that the Pakistan team is not getting ODI practice, it has to be worked on. Matches can be held among themselves, opportunities should be created to play more one-day cricket. He raised the question that if the foreign coaches go to their homes, how will the national team train?

Talking about Babar Azam, Misbah-ul-Haq said that as a captain, Babar Azam’s batting has improved and he is playing well. Babar Azam has to take the decision about the captaincy. He should decide for himself whether he has to leave the captaincy of any format or not. Talking about Pakistan-India cricket, Misbah said that both governments should decide regarding Pakistan-India cricket. Sports should be separated from politics and both countries should play together.
