American singer Beyonce and her husband and rapper Jay-Z have bought a new house in California for 200 million dollars (about 57 billion rupees). The Malibu home is the most expensive property ever sold in the state, TMZ reported, citing sources.

The house was listed for sale at $295 million. The house offers a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. The report added that it measures 30,000 square feet and was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tada Ando. The sale was made by venture capitalist Marc Andreessen, according to Architectural Digest. $177 million was spent on a property.
The property, located on Pacific Coast Highway, was previously owned by art collector William Bell, who bought it in 2003 for $14.5 million. He hired Tada Ando to design the house. It is an L-shaped mansion with open spaces, lawns and scenic beach views. The property also features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and concrete hallways. A swimming pool and cabana are also part of the home, the Los Angeles Times reported.
