Aamir Khan is on a break from films and has now gone to Nepal for a 10-day vipassana meditation program. The actor will participate in a program at the Vipassana Meditation Center in Budhanalkantha, about 12 km from Kathmandu. It is known as one of the most prominent meditation centers in Kathmandu.

According to Hindustan Times, Roop Jyoti, an official of the Vipassana Center in Nepal, told news agency ANI, ‘Yes, they have come here for 11 days of Vipassana meditation. He has joined the session today. From the airport, he directly came to Buddhanalkantha and started the session. An immigration office official said that the actor arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning. “Aamir Khan arrived in Kathmandu on Vistara Airlines on Sunday morning,” the official told news agency PTI. Aamir last visited Nepal in 2014 to attend a UNICEF program in Kathmandu.
After the release of Lal Singh Chadha last year, Aamir announced that he would be taking a long break from acting. He has not announced any new projects. However, they make occasional appearances in films and public events, and parties. He was also seen at Arpita Khan’s Eid event and at the inauguration of the national conclave on Man Ki Baat at 100 in Delhi last month.
